I must challenge this. The US government does choose to intervene in times of global crisis, but that does not make it responsible for every conflict that happens in the world! Nor can the US government take all the credit for crises averted. Clearly the locals have more control over local issues.
How can any outside government be expected to react omnipotently to complex societal problems? That's just not possible. I'm tired of primarily blaming the US for middle-eastern people killing eachother in local disputes. Let's change the rhetoric, please.
