Быков идиот. В самом прямом смысле этого понятия. Человек, обладающий минимальным запасом знаний, а Быков таким запасом несомненно обладает, произносящий такое - идиот.

It is a long story that goes back to the great dispute in Russian and not only Russian history and culture. Bykov slightly touches on the argument between Dostoevsky and Chernyshevsky, but his interpretation of it is fundamentally wrong if not dishonest.

Roughly speaking, according to Bykov Motorolla came to his glory because FMD deprived our culture of moral values and allowed human beings to be immoral. Which of course is total nonsense.
